Additional Public Holiday Declared for the 2024 General Elections

President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared 29 May 2024 a public holiday. This additional public holiday has been granted to give the country the opportunity to participate in the 2024 General National and Provincial Elections. More details about the public holiday can be found here.

As always, our system was swiftly updated to accommodate this newly announced public holiday, ensuring a seamless payroll process. Any employees who have already logged annual leave for 29 May 2024 will have the leave for that day automatically removed, and have it added back to their entitlement.
