Repayment of Advance
SimplePay has a built-in system item for repayments of an advance given to an employee during the month. To add this item:
- Go to Employees on the left-hand menu and select the relevant employee.
- Click on Add next to Payslip Inputs.
- Select Repayment Of Advance under Deduction.
- Enter the amount to be deducted. This will decrease the nett pay for the employee, but will have no effect on the tax payable by the employee.
- Click Save.
