Repayment of Advance

SimplePay has a built-in system item for repayments of an advance given to an employee during the month. To add this item:

  1. Go to Employees on the left-hand menu and select the relevant employee.
  2. Click on Add next to Payslip Inputs.
  3. Select Repayment Of Advance under Deduction.
  4. Enter the amount to be deducted. This will decrease the nett pay for the employee, but will have no effect on the tax payable by the employee.
  5. Click Save.
